Due to the recent weather conditions and statewide power outages, Our neighbors to the west at the Montgomery County Meals On Wheels program lost all of the food in their freezers and are in need of shelf-stable foods to provide to their seniors while they wait on replacement food shipments.

Tuna packets and peanut butter are the items they need the most! If you can help, you are encouraged to drop off food Monday thru Friday 11am - 2pm. If you would like to have food items shipped directly to them, please ship to Meals on Wheels Montgomery County, 111 South 2nd Street, Conroe, TX 77301. You can find their wish link here

Formerly known as the Friendship Center, This incredibly important non-profit organization was founded in 1973 to meet the growing needs of the aging population in the Montgomery County area. As demand changed over time, they have adapted into what is now Meals on Wheels Montgomery County.

Since then, Montgomery County Meals On Wheels has grown from a small grass-roots organization based in Conroe to an organization delivering nearly 300,000 meals and providing nearly 15,000 rides to local seniors and the disabled annually.

MOWMC has a successful track record of nourishing local seniors, and the need is evident with a Waitlist that continues to grow. Today, they rely on support from hundreds of volunteers, thousands of donors, and dozens of businesses to serve more seniors and meet the needs of our most vulnerable neighbors.
