Celebrate the music of classic rock legends Queen in an exhilarating musical tribute sponsored by Huntsman. The Houston Symphony will return to The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion Main Stage Thursday, September 30, for an evening featuring a variety of Queen classics including We Will Rock You, Bohemian Rhapsody and Somebody to Love. Mezzanine and lawn seating are free. The performance will begin at 8 p.m. and gates open at 7 p.m. Reserved orchestra seating tickets are $20 and go on sale Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Bridging the gap between rock n’ roll and classical music, conductor/arranger Brent Havens takes the podium to present Windborne's ultimate rock show, The Music of Queen, a program he scored to extend the listening experience of Queen's exceptional tunes.  Performed by an orchestra and amplified with a full rock band and vocals, Havens and his ensemble capture Queen's distinct sound while presenting some familiar and lots of new musical colors. High energy, fun music, and the familiarity of the songs make the show a fun one both to play and to see.

Families are also encouraged to enhance their performing arts experience with Mini Maestros, a free and exciting program that makes the arts both fun and accessible for kids of all ages. Incentives including entries for fun raffle prizes, performing arts event tickets and more will be offered throughout the season to encourage Maestros to continue their Pavilion arts journey! Families can register their children online at www.woodlandscenter.org/mini-maestros.
