The cause of a House Fire in the 3700 block of Deerbrook, near Creekwood Middle School currently under investigation. The fire was reported at 9:10 am this morning (Feb 16, 2021) and current damage is estimated at around $150,000. There were no injuries reported

Firefighters arrived on scene within six minutes and found fire coming from the side of a house's garage. An off-duty College Station firefighter had assisted in evacuating the occupants from the home and closed all of the doors.  The fire was starting to spread to a nearby exposure and crews worked to protect it. 

They knocked down the fire in the garage and proceeded to extinguish fire in the home on the first floor, second floor and attic. Crews ventilated the home and conducted property conservation on the first floor. HFD Arson investigators were requested to determine the cause and origin of the fire. Firefighters from Stations 101, 102, 103, and 64 responded to this incident.
